The WADA statement confirmed that LifeWave patches do not fall under the list of prohibited substances and methods. While WADA does not endorse LifeWave products, the patches were cleared for use in athletes. The agency emphasized the importance of athletes' responsibility for their bodies' integrity and compliance with anti-doping rules.

This double-blind, placebo-controlled study involved 44 college football athletes. The LifeWave patches significantly improved strength endurance, with the experimental group showing a 33.9% increase compared to a 3.6% increase in the placebo group and a 3.1% decrease in the control group. The results indicate that LifeWave patches effectively enhance athletic performance, particularly under fatigued conditions.

This letter reports on testing over 200 individuals using LifeWave patches, showing significant physiological responses in 85% of participants. Infrared imaging revealed localized and overall body thermal changes, suggesting improved sleep, energy, and bowel function. The patches proved safe for use in athletes, with minor side effects like temporary fatigue and increased thirst.

This report by MVA Scientific Consultants evaluated the permeability of LifeWave patches. Tests showed that the patches' polyethylene film prevented the migration of water-soluble compounds, confirming that no substances from the patches could be absorbed into the skin. The study concluded that LifeWave patches are non-transdermal and safe for use.
